Justin Garcia is an Emmy® award-winning creator who loves telling stories, regardless of the medium. He specializes in storyworld building and franchise brand development across multiple platforms, including television, film, books, podcasts, live theater, and themed experiences.

During his high school and college years, Justin published multiple animated shorts on YouTube under the name Budgess Man, where he created Scary Cotton, Dev Dragon, and a popular Blue’s Clues parody called Kip’s Tips.

In 2014, Justin interned at DreamWorks Animation / Big Idea, where he worked on concept design, animation, and much more for the VeggieTales franchise.

In 2016, Justin won 1st Place, Comedy, at the College Television Awards in Los Angeles for his work on Terrance, a live-action romantic comedy he wrote and directed.

In 2020, Justin began serving as showrunner for the first season of Superbook GizmoGO!, an animated/live-action hybrid series he co-created.
